Luca is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Son of a Barista. He is responsible for setting the company’s strategic roadmap and managing execution for rapidly growing its customers base.

Prior founding SOAB, Luca was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of ALYT. Under his leadership, ALYT has created a leading IoT solution that seamlessly integrates and operates thousands of connected home devices through a single app.

Prior to founding ALYT, Luca held a variety of senior management positions at GPS Standard, a leading European security firm focused on integrated technology solutions for military and industrial customers. While at GPS, Luca led the company’s first home automation project, which helped shift the home security industry with an innovative “open protocol” system that could integrate with existing user devices.

Luca was raised on bread and tech in Ivrea, the heart of Italy’s engineering and technology industry. He attended the Computer Engineering program at Politecnico di Torino, Marketing and Communication at Univesità degli Studi di Torino and holds a doctorate and a Master in Marketing from the IED.
